UK Entertainment Venues app for iPhone and iPad

This “UK Entertainment Venues” application for the Apple iPhone contains details of over 700 venues throughout the UK, including over 130 music festivals. It has been created to help the hundreds of thousands of people who travel each year to attend concerts, festivals and performances in towns, cities and rural festival sites that they may not be familiar with.

This handy little application allows venues to be selected from an A-Z town list, and there are separate menus for music festivals, comedy clubs and London’s West End theatres. Aside from the venue’s address, telephone number and website, once your intended destination has been selected, the app will provide you with a map and full directions for your journey, your estimated travel time and distance, and a choice of conventional or satellite mapping.

Once you arrive, two additional functions will help you: one allowing you to record exactly where you parked your car (ever been lost in a large car park?) and the other remembers precisely where your tent is – handy for the returning late-night festival goer when all tents look the same! We’ve also included a handy torch function to help you find your tent zip or car keys in the bottom of your bag.
